泰勒最新专辑Folklore中的一曲The Last Great American Dynasty继承了她一贯出色的叙事。二十几年的创作经验下，她的文风愈渐成熟，主题愈得延伸。

这次，她从上个世纪美国名媛Rebekah Harkness身上得到灵感，娓娓讲述了她的传奇故事，她的离经叛道，以及她与自己的某种关联，不管是Holiday House，还是内心世界。

Rebekah Harkness出身于中产阶级家庭，在校期间和朋友们自称“Bitch Pack”。她们叛逆不羁，流连上流社交。1947年，Rebekah嫁给了美孚石油公司继承人William Harkness，至此她真正地踏入了上流社会，过上了极尽奢豪的名媛生活。1954年Bill突发心脏病去世。Rebekah作为遗孀继承了7500万美元的财产（相当于现在的7.2亿美元）。因为对芭蕾感兴趣，她组建了一个以自己命名的芭蕾舞团，更挖来了上家投资对象的多名舞者。她毫不吝啬地砸钱给他们买服装，做美容，买剧院，办巡演。她翻修了自己的豪宅，并投资了不少艺术品和房地产。去世前，她还要求把自己的骨灰放进价值25万美元，由自己的好友——西班牙著名画家达利亲自设计的黄金骨灰盒里。
